Melbourne-based lighting design studio ambience introduces Linear LEGO Luminaire — the ultimate playful kaleidoscope of color. Made entirely out of repurposed LEGO bricks and plates, the sleek and minimalist fixture emanates light through an opal diffused LED extrusion, which together with the vibrant frame, emanates a whimsical character into its surrounding space. With the attached flex cord, the light can either be suspended from the ceiling as a pendant, or balanced upright on the ground as a decorative sculptural piece.

In a playful yet practical design, the lighting’s narrow frame is composed of repurposed LEGO pieces, with carefully selected colors that exude vibrancy and character into their environment. Inside the LEGO Luminaire’s frame, lighting design studio ambience integrates a 7W opal diffused linear extrusion which exudes a soft LED glow. Further, the fixture comes equipped with a two-toned color matched flex cord, allowing the light to either be hung from the ceiling or placed against a wall.

Linear LEGO Luminaire is part of ambience studio’s Symphony range, which specializes in creative linear, pendant, profile, ‘LED neon’ and strip lighting design. Established in 1987, ambience have produced projects for several prolific clients including Aesop, MUJI, Hilton, and more. Their work has achieved accolades at numerous international design awards including [d]arc, LIT, and London Lighting Design Awards.
