Tresco Lighting offers a variety of LED products for commercial and residential applications.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Tresco Lighting, a designer of patented lighting solutions for residential and commercial millwork, will introduce several new products at the 2021 Closets Expo, co-located with Wood Pro Expo Florida. Tresco, a Rev-A-Shelf company since 2011, has a more than 40-year history of designing and patenting products for residential and commercial millwork, including closets, cabinets, store fixtures and more.

New Tresco LED lighting products, including color tunable, chip on board flexible lighting and wireless technology, will be featured at Rev-A-Shelf’s booth #417. Here’s a closer look at some of the Tresco products that will make their public debut June 9-10 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. Tresco bills its new Chip on Board (COB) LED 12VDC tape as “the latest advancement in tape lighting.” Because the diodes are directly mounted on a printed circuit board and a continuous fortified coating, this flexible, Tresco says this high-density LED lighting strip creates a “Luniform look without dark spots.” No covers or filters are needed. Designed for indoor use only, this 4.4W/ft FlexTape features a 115-degree beam angle and is available in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4800K or 6500K. It is sold in 13-ft (4m) rolls that are cuttable every 11/16 in. (18mm). COB LED 12VDC tape comes with a five-year warranty and can be used with Infinex extrusions, sold separately. Tresco says its 24VDC White Tunable CCT FlexTape makes it easy to change the light source’s color temperature ranging from warmer lighting (2700K) to highlight natural woodgrains and earth tones to cool lighting (6500K) to highlight whites. The low profile and 3M adhesive backing allows for the lighting to be installed in a multitude of places and is ideal for cabinets, store fixtures and task or accent lighting. The product features a 115-degree beam angle and is sold in 16.4-ft rolls (5m) and is cuttable every 2 in. (25mm). Simple FlexConnect connectors eliminate soldering. Tunable remote controls, sold separately, allow the freedom to customize lighting. Tresco’s RGB Balance 12VDC FlexTape offers 16 million color variations. On-board constant current regulators prevent voltage drops to eliminate color shifts and create “consistent dramatic lighting,” Tresco says. RGB Balance was created for high-end projects including residential, hospitality and commercial settings. The product is sold in 13-foot (4m) rolls that are cuttable every 1-5/8 in. (42mm). It features a 120-degree beam angle, 4.4W/ft. Simple FlexConnect connectors eliminate the need for soldering and precision tunable remote controls, sold separately, allow for easy color adjustments. Tresco says its new wireless door sensors are easier to install than traditional wired sensors and “eliminate the hassle of messy wire management.” The sensors use RF technology and automatically turn lights on when a door is opened. The sensors are available in black or nickel and run on long-lasting CR2025 batteries.
